CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK

Our Challenge of the week is our first sketch at The Next Level. We wanted to give you something that was a little challenging but appealing hopefully to everyone at all levels. The sketch features an arched pocket and inserted into this is a removable tag.


If you click on the Design Team members names above their cards you will visit their own blogs and see how they have interpreted the sketch. Some have an arched front to their card and others have built in the arched shape in the matting and layering. The choice is yours - be as creative as you like.




To assist you we have prepared 2 templates, by clicking on the links below you will be able to display the actual size Sketch and the arch front template. When you click the link and the picture appears, right click and save to your desktop. Please make sure that when you send the images to your printer your printer is set to print at actual size and does not make any alterations. This way you can clearly see each dimension to assist you in creating your card.

    Fantastic cards from the DT team.
    I messed up the challenge a little bit, I was convinced that we had to use a Penny Black stamped image and so I did. Now I realized we did not have to use this kind of stamped images, but I love these stamps anyway :D

    I'm lovin' this blog more each week. The Grab Some Stash section was a winner for me this week. I tried printing some of the digital papers and used them in my challenge entry. This week's sketch was excellent. I took a little liberty and substituted a pocket heart for your main rectangle image, but I think it works.
